The short version

Charles Botensten is a Manhattan-based entrepreneur, real estate founder, and AI builder. He founded BPI (Botensten Properties International) in 2014 — a residential real estate agency in midtown Manhattan. He's a triathlete and now building AI-first tools and communities under Botensten Enterprises.

The arc

How I got here

2009 NYC real-estate agent. Learned the trade before automation made it easy. Cold-called, cobbled together CRMs, closed deals.
2014 Founded BPI. Botensten Properties International — Manhattan residential brokerage. Still running, still closing deals.
2024 Started building AI tools. Recognized the brokerage workflow could be 10× with the right tooling. Started building. Didn’t stop.
Today AI-first studio + community. iCharles, Botensten Enterprises, Todd, the Daily Brief council — building in public, every day.
